Manual handling basics workshop

This new educational program is free for small to medium sized businesses (0-199 staff) in Victoria, from any industry.

Facilitated by experts in ergonomics and OHS, participants will receive practical feedback and advice on managing the risks of hazardous manual handling in the workplace.

This session covers:

• Hazardous manual handling and musculoskeletal disorder basics
• OHS compliance requirements
• How to identify hazardous manual handling in your workplace and prioritise tasks for action
• How to conduct a risk assessment
• Applying the hierarchy of control
• Reviewing and monitoring risk controls
