Mangrove Forest Walk, Coffs Creek.
Overview
The Mangroves of Coffs Creek are a place of astounding life, home to diverse birds, fish and crustaceans. Once seen as unsightly, they are now protected for the important role they play in the health and vitality of our City. On this walk we will reconnect with nature and learn about the importance of Mangrove ecosystems, threats and various actions that we can all take to care for them.
Location: Meet at the end of Hood Street, Coffs Creek. The tour will finish at the mouth of the Coffs Creek requiring a return walk of approximately 1km.
Ages: This tour is more suited to adults however children 7+ years are welcome. Children must be accompained by an adult.
