About this event

Progress Committees play a pivotal role in supporting graduate research candidates and ensuring the success of their research endeavours. The purpose of this workshop is to provide Committee members and Chairs with an opportunity to develop their knowledge of the requirements of the role, and to share their experience with others from across the university.

The workshop will provide advice on policy and process, will draw participants’ attention to current trends and considerations in graduate research progress, and will provide an opportunity for workshopping scenarios together with colleagues.

THIS WORKSHOP IS INTENDED FOR SUPERVISORS AND PROGRESS COMMITTEE CHAIRS OF GRADUATE RESEARCH CANDIDATES AT LA TROBE UNIVERSITY.

The workshop is intended for academics from any discipline. It may also be beneficial for GRCs, other School research leaders, and for supervisors who may wish to take on a PC Chair role in future.
