Pop culture comes to life on the Sunshine Coast with Manafest, a celebration of pop, Asian, and alternative culture through art, performance, and gaming.
Highly visual and immersive, Manafest showcases this offbeat and vividly entertaining world with opportunities for everybody to engage in fun, hands-on activities, including live action role playing, crafting workshops and free games.
Let nostalgia take over as memories of your childhood come back with retro games and playful walk-through exhibitions. Experience the art of cosplay (costume roleplay) by taking part in the cosplay competition or simply watching as the distinctive costumes hit the runway.
Enjoy live performances, music and anime film screenings, or sit and enjoy it all with food and drinks at the Japanese-inspired Maid Café.
Stay for the after party at The Bison Bar from 5pm and the screening of ‘The Darkest Minds’ at Majestic Cinemas and Event Centre, Nambour at 7pm.
Come dressed up as your favourite pop culture star on the day for the chance to win some awesome vouchers from local businesses.
