Mal Webb and Kylie Morrigan:

Vocal adventurer, multi-instrumentalist and looping beatboxing songwriter Mal sings his brain provoking songs using all sorts of vocal techniques, guitar, mbira, slide trumpet, trombone, chromatic harmonica and a loop recording pedal called Derek. And Kylie (who's played with Orchestra Victoria and the likes of Stevie Wonder and Barry White!) provides violin, voice, flute and melodica in a perfect balance to Mal's nutsness. Their arrangements are intricate and playful. Imagine Einstein, Dr Seuss and Paganini making pancakes.

Morrigan and Wilding:

Carly Wilding and Kylie Morrigan are a folk-fusion duo based in bayside Naarm (Melbourne). They bring together Carly’s extensive theatre and music background and Kylie’s classical and contemporary musical background and merge into a slightly mystical, slightly Celtic, slightly gothic and unique blending of voice and multi-instrumentation with all original songs.

Fresh from their theatre show, Bumbles and Moz, are doing their first gig as Morrigan and Wilding! Yes, they did a theatre show about them becoming a band prior to them actually doing a gig... perhaps they could also fit in a band breakup, a reunion tour (with the MSO) and a Vegas season before this first gig... ha ha!
