Making Sustained Changes

Are you struggling with a negative habit, or finding it hard to get motivated? This course is ideal for anyone who knows what they want, but feels held back by something and can’t seem to break the cycle.
Throughout the course, you will explore what your current behaviour means to you, test out alternative approaches and put in place an effective habit change strategy using well established techniques.
Below is some more information about what we will be looking at over the 3 week course:
Week 1: Know it - Understand how your habit impacts your life and identify common triggers, so that you can take the first steps towards making changes.
Week 2: Do it – Develop strategies to cut down unwanted behaviours and introduce preferred behaviours based on your experiences.
Week 3: Own it – Learn how to maintain preferred behaviours, recruit supporters and respond to setbacks along the way.
Note: This course is run over 3 evenings: 1 evening per week for 3 weeks - Wed 24/5, 31/5 & 7/6. To receive your Certificate of Completion, you will need to attend all 3 sessions.
