About this event
Pricing artwork and successfully marketing it is one of the most complex tasks that emerging artists can face in their career.
In this two hour workshop for artists, Dr Layli Rakhsha will explore the considerations and concepts you can use to price your pieces as well as how to be an advocate for your work and successfully market it to potential buyers.
Tickets are free for City of Belmont residents (Ascot, Belmont, Cloverdale, Kewdale, Redcliffe, Rivervale) and $10 for non-residents. If you purchase a residents ticket, please bring proof of your City of Belmont address to the workshop. Accepted forms include a current drivers licence, proof of age card, recent utility bill or opportunity card.
This workshop is part of the City of Belmont Art Awards: Education Program. The program assists our arts community in developing their professional skillset for a successful entry to the City’s Arts Awards and beyond. For more workshops, visit our website.
The Art Awards are brought to you by the City of Belmont and sponsored by Belmont Forum, our media partner PerthNow and our education partner Artsource. Artsource is Western Australia’s leading visual arts network and membership organisation for artists.
