Event description

Description

Increase your awareness of building design decisions on the horse's welfare.

This FREE workshop will introduce our exclusive Equitecture 5 STAR Design model to help you create the best-fit stables, covered arena or paddock shelters for your horses.

  • Research indicates that many horses experience physical and mental stress due to their built environment. Who has ever used horse facilities and thought that its too hot, dusty, difficult for the horse to move or lie down or smells of ammonia? These signs can signal compromise of the horse's welfare.
  • My role as a designer is to link the great wealth of evidence-based equine science with horse building development in order to accommodate equine needs - both physically and behaviourally.
  • Horses can optimise their ability to thrive, exercise, perform and rest in built environments which cater for their evolutionary needs.
  • Whether it's a grand property masterplan or that humble little horse stable, these workshops are aimed at learning further about the key aspects of design so participants can action these for the benefit of their horse.

Workshop to be conducted in the WPNEC Old Administration Building. Limited tickets available so please reserve your tickets asap!
