Overview
What is Maker Lab?
Maker Labs are free and open sessions where you can work on your own projects and connect with other makers in the Mick Bennett Make-It Space! All visitors, members and curous types are welcome.
Visit the Make-It Space during Maker Lab, become a member and start making right away!

Membership
Membership is free and open to anyone aged 14+. Parental/Guardian consent is required for members under 18.
To become a member, you will need to:
- Be 14 years or older. If you are under 18, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can sign the consent form on your first visit.
- Provide photo ID with current address.
- Agree to the Make-It Space Terms of Use.
- Agree to the Make-It Space Code of Conduct.
Our Equipment
Equipment is available for members to use. *Some equipment requires induction before use. Induction sessions are advertised to members only.
Below is just some of the equipment we have available for members to use:
- 3D Printers
- Circut machines
- Electronics kits
- Sewing machines & overlocker
- CO2 Laser Cutter*
- CNC Router*
Equipment bookings for members only can be found on the Make-It Space Eventbrite Collection.
Materials
Some basic materials are available for new members to learn, to complete inductions and participate in workshops.
Once you start working on your own projects, please bring the materials required to complete your project.
