This 1.5 hour session is only for casual and short-term temporary teachers who are maintaining accreditation at Proficient Teacher. The session will focus on developing a stronger understanding of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and provides advice on how casual teachers can maintain accreditation.
The session will cover:
- engaging with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
- building on your teaching practice at Proficient Teacher
- setting professional and personal learning goals
- monitoring time frames
- engaging in lifelong learning
- critically reflecting on your teaching practice.
Completing this session will contribute 1.5 hours of NESA Registered PD (Standard Descriptors 6.1.2 and 7.4.2) towards maintenance requirements for Proficient Teachers in NSW.
