Join us for special day of celebration at Springwood’s Norman Lindsay Gallery, home of The Magic Pudding, a whimsical children’s book written by Norman Lindsay in 1917.A charming day out for children and adults alike, Magic Pudding Day offers an array of activities including crafts, a pudding trail and face painting.Tickets include entry to the gallery and grounds. Head inside to view the new exhibition and step into the original painting studio where Norman created his famous art and The Magic Pudding.Pack a picnic to enjoy in the lovely heritage gardens, snap a family shot with our own Magic Pudding or under the show-stopping spring wisteria arbour, and take a short scenic bushwalk to make the most of the stunning views across the Grose Valley.Free Guided Tours of the property will run at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 2.30pm.Ticket add-ons (inc GST) include:<ul><li>Children's craft, games, facepainting: $11.00</li><li>Morning tea: $16.50</li><li>Cheese platters for two: $27.50</li></ul> Please note, the pudding competition will no longer be proceeding. <h3>The Magic Pudding</h3>The Magic Pudding is the quintessential read about food, fun and adventure. Written over 100 years ago, this beloved book has amused generations of children and their parents with the fun and harrowing adventures of memorable animal characters including Bunyip Bluegum, Bill Barnacle, Sam Sawnoff, the Puddin’ thieves, and Albert, the cantankerous, ‘never-ending’ pudding.
