COURSE INFORMATION:
MAC yapang is pleased to present this 6-week beginner friendly course in which respected artist and teacher, Dr Trevor Weekes will guide students through the fundamentals of observational drawing. Covering core concepts and experimenting with materials, participants will build confidence and their creative skills through the exploration of still life, portraiture and landscape in a welcoming and creative environment.

- 6 x weekly sessions beginning from Wednesday 25 February 2026
- 9:30 am to 11:30am (2 hours)
- Participants are committing to attending 6 x sessions. Refunds/credit for absence/failure to attend are not available
- Materials not included. A recommended materials list will be provided on confirmation of registration, or add on a MAC yapang drawing pack from shopMAC with your order (collect at first session)
- This is a beginner - intermediate course for participants 16 years and over
- This course will be held in the StudioMAC education space inside MAC yapang and accessed via the main entrance foyer
- Participants are required to wear closed-in shoes

Dr Trevor Weekes is a respected multi-disciplinary artist and lecturer based in the Hunter Region. With a legacy of solo and groups shows across Australia, Dr Weekes is recognised and celebrated for his work that celebrates the natural world.
