Chase the light. Ride together. maap.cc/equinox
City Challenge Overview:
Sunrise to Sunset, around the bay. Join the Away Message team for the Equinox Experience celebrating shared movement and connection. Starting with the sun at Golden Gate Bridge, we’ll roll over to Marin Service Course to pick up folks from Marin before heading across the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge to the East Bay, beginning our journey to the top of Diablo. From there we will summit Mount Diablo and make our way down to San Jose via Palomares Road and Calaveras Road. The ride will end at Hapa Brewing in San Jose, where everyone can regroup and celebrate before jumping on the Caltrain back to San Francisco to complete the trip.
Note: Riders not wanting to join for the entire ride may want to head towards a BART station after summiting Diablo. There are several options to choose from near the route.

*** IMPORTANT DETAILS PLEASE READ ***
This is a highly technical road ride. We strongly encourage you to consider your fitness level and equipment for the terrain. Whether you plan to do the entire route or a section of your choice, you'll be a part of a global community of riders finding a moment of harmony and alignment on the bike. However it’s accomplished, may the effort be grounded in the pleasure of possibilities when pushing into new comfort zones with friends. You are responsible for your own nutrition and hydration across the ride. You must wear a helmet and appropriate cycling footwear for the terrain. You are also responsible for your own mechanical support – bring spare tubes, tyre levers, a patch kit, and a pump or CO2 cartridges. If you’re unsure about your fitness level, out of an abundance of caution, we recommend holding off on this ride and keeping an eye out for future MAAP rides.
