Longevity, by Walter Walter

Walter Walter is exhibiting material research via a range of crafted vessels. We invite you to interact with and interrogate our experiments, to explore the potentials of the material we come into contact with the most in our daily lives; plastic.

Plastic is a material of infinite potential; strong, mouldable, and adaptable- yet it is widely considered as cheap and disposable. The vessels on display aim to reframe our current viewpoint on plastic, focusing instead on its utility, lifespan and ephemerality. The transparent and translucent vessels are designed to be responsive to their environment; objects which are designed to embrace change.

Our bio-plastic vessels embody the qualities of our time, in a material of our time, that when used optimistically, can create enhanced everyday experiences lasting for generations.
