Long Poses with Nishi Art Collective
Event Information
Description
Nishi Art Collective gather for life drawing with a variation of models, lots of easels, seated positions, and materials, as well as support from Meg Morton.
This friendly event is on level 8 of the Nishi Building. The meeting place is at the bottom of the grand staircase in the foyer of the building, just outside Max Brenner and Palace cinema. Try to get there 10 minutes early to allow you time to head upstairs, settle in and set up. Don't forget to bring a little something to drink if you like.
These classes are a variation on our regular classes, and will occur (usually) on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. They will be geared towards longer poses that will help us in preparation for our group exhibition early 2017. The general setup will be to have 4 half hour poses, or two half hour poses and an hour long pose. These sessions will be largely unguided and will offer an opportunity for particpants to relax, get into the zone and do their own thing. There'll be exhibition quality paper available for all those wishing to contribute work to the group exhibition.
Important note: If for any reason you do happen to be late (it happens) just pop upstairs to the hotel reception, and they'll swipe you upstairs to join us.
Unfortunately there can be no refunds for this event.
