Locally Grown Discovery Tour — Collingwood

Discover a thriving community of growers in Collingwood.

Just steps from busy Hoddle Street, a community of growers is calmly coaxing magic from the soil. Tucked away behind the buildings in and around Collingwood, you’ll discover secret pockets of produce, and meet the people who create and nurture them. From the jewel-like pomegranate to the humble bean, this walking tour will surprise and inspire you. This My Smart Garden Event is presented in partnership with Yarra City Council - City Works Branch.

This Yarra Libraries and My Smart Garden event is proudly presented by Yarra City Council on the land of Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung of the Kulin nation. My Smart Garden pays our respect to Elders past and present and acknowledges that First Nations peoples have cared for Country sustainably for tens of thousands of years.

Please bring a hat, sunscreen, water and sturdy walking shoes. Starting at Collingwood Library, we will walk to Collingwood Hoddle Street Estate Community Gardens and nearby sites.
