Local Government Skills Development Consultation - Illawarra Region

SkillsIQ, under the direction of the Local Government Industry Reference Committee is undertaking a detailed update of the Training Package Products in the LGA04 Local Government Training Package. Consultation workshops are being scheduled with Local Government Councils and Authorities, and representative associations, to inform draft 1 material. The focus of these workshops will be to outline the Training Package Project and, more specifically, on identifying the key job roles and skills priorities in a broad cross section of councils, representative of the sector.

This detail is critical and will inform the technical writing of Draft 1 of the new Local Government Training Package (including units of competency and skill sets).

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to updated qualifications and skill sets within the Local Government Training Package.
