Event Details

Join ANROWS for the Building Safer Communities for Women Workshop to discuss community based practice for the prevention of violence of against women and their children. The workshop will explore:

  • ongoing use of action research approaches in community-based work to reduce violence against women;

  • promising practice in the area of preventing violence against women and translating and informing the Change the Story framework into actions at a community level;

  • tools that encourage community workers to keep engaging with research, reflect on their practice and consider effective prevention strategies in their community context.
