Load Planning Open-AAIR Discussion

AAIR SIG Conversation Series

AAIR is offering its members and their peers within their organisations an opportunity to participate (at no cost) in interactive sessions online to discuss how we are all approaching load planning this year. We anticipate there being several one-hour sessions over the coming months, as there are many things to discuss. This first session will be held on Thursday 7 May from 11am to 12pm AEST.

If you and/or your load planning colleagues are interested in participating in an open-AAIR discussion on load planning, please register your interest in the session on Eventbrite and we will send you a link to participate in the session.

Here are some of the topics we hope to cover during our discussion:

  • Do people know what is going on from the Department’s perspective?
  • What are the new funding agreements?
  • What are the anticipated changes to this year's load planning process?
  • How are you dealing with 2020 projections against the budget?
  • What are the assumptions you are basing your projections on? (e.g.: school leaver ATAR saga, internationals not crossing borders, any other COVID19-related issues)
  • How are universities dealing with changing census dates?
  • What are the performance-based funding implications, and is this now a redundant issue?

We look forward to meeting you in our first SIG conversation during COVID!
