Wyndham City Council is developing a Library of Stories which aims to collate and share stories of community, culture and history of Wyndham. We are inviting residents to join our Library of Stories as a 'Living Book'.

Come along to this session to find out more about the Wyndham Library of Stories project and how you can join as a ‘Living Book’.

The Library of Stories Coordinator will give a short overview of the project, the type of stories we are hoping to collect and share, and what’s involved with being a ‘Living Book’ including training on offer.

A current ‘Living Book’ will also share a story to give you an insight into the Wyndham Library of Stories in action.

There will be time for a Q&A about becoming a ‘Living Book’ at the end of the session.

Light refreshments will be provided alongside some community networking.

How do I get to Hoppers Crossing (Plaza) Library?

Bus terminal ~20 meters from entrance to the library. Buses leaving this terminal: 161, 166, 167, 170, 181. No dedicated taxi rank. ~3km from Hoppers Crossing train station - PTV Zone 2 . Shared parking with Pacific Werribee Shopping Centre* *Time limits apply and areas patrolled.

Is Hoppers Crossing (Plaza) Library accessible?

Level entry to building foyer, automatic doors at entrances. Access to library (located on level 1) via staircase or elevator. Hearing loop installed in Community Learning Room and children's programs area. Access to accessible bathrooms within Shopping Centre.
