About this event

UQ students are invited to attend an in-person screening of "Leadership in the 21st Century - How to respond to increasing volatility and the new tectonic trends defining our world", with Andrew N. Liveris AO, Founding Donor of the Andrew N. Liveris Academy for Innovation and Leadership, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Dow Chemical Company, and former Executive Chairman of DowDuPont, delivered to the National Press Club of Australia, on 16 September 2020.

As part of a 5 week series, UQ students will hear from Fortune 500 CEOs about leadership, innovation, and our rapidly changing world, and will be invited to join in a discussion with Scholars and leading academics on the nature of decision-making under uncertainty.

In 2018, the Andrew N Liveris Academy for Innovation and Leadership was established at The University of Queensland for students to garner a real-life understanding of global challenges, and how to create positive change for society.

Following this event, students may wish to further develop their leadership skills through the UQ Employability Award (https://employability.uq.edu.au/award). Entry is via optional gold coin donation to various charitable organisations chosen by students.
