Overview

A weekly art class for children ages 3-6 years and their carers.

Bring your big creative energy to Little Bugs, a creative workshop series for young artists!

Little Bugs is an invitation to engage with art materials and processes in a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment. Each session will involve a mixture of playful exploration and gentle skill development through open-ended art activities and experiences.

Little Bugs participants will be encouraged to cultivate their own ideas and imagination by a passionate, caring and cat-loving artist and facilitator, Stephanie Hicks.

Anything is possible!

All materials provided.

Suitable for children ages 3 - 6 years and their carers.


Dates:

Session 1| 17 March 2026 | 10 -11am

Session 2 | 24 March 2026 | 10 - 11am

Session 3 | 31 March 2026 | 10 - 11am


Cost:

$25 + booking fee per child. Adults are required to stay for the session but do not require a ticket.

Refunds are available up to 48 hours before the event.


Getting here:

Art Club Northcote is a beautiful, purpose built workshop space located in Preston's Nightingale development.

It is a short walk from High Street buses, tram routes 86 and 11, and Bell Station.

Stephanie Hicks is a visual artist and educator living and working on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. As a practicing artist, she is passionate about fostering positive creative, learning, and social outcomes for the wider community.

Stephanie holds a Master of Contemporary Art from the Victorian College of the Arts, and has worked across the Galleries, Libraries and Museums Sector for over twenty years.
