P﻿resented by the AIAL (Queensland Chapter) and the Australian Association of Constitutional Law (Queensland Chapter)If the referendum for the proposed Indigenous Voice to Parliament succeeds, it will be the first change to Australia's Constitution since 1977. Please join us to hear from some of Australia's preeminent thinkers and experts on this topic. The event will be educational and foster public knowledge and understanding of the administrative and constitutional law implications of the Voice.P﻿resentersThe Hon Kenneth Hayne AC KC was a Justice of the High Court of Australia between 1997 and 2015. He conducted the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services between December 2017 and February 2019. Professor Megan Davis grew up in Eagleby and Hervey Bay and is a Cobble Cobble woman of the Barunggam Nation. Prof. Davis is the Pro Vice-Chancellor Society (PVCS) at UNSW Sydney. Professor Davis is also the Balnaves Chair of Constitutional Law, a Professor of Law and Director of the Indigenous Law Centre UNSW Law.C﻿hairThe Hon Justice Lincoln Crowley is a justice of the Supreme Court of Queensland. Upon being sworn in on 13 June 2022, he became the first Indigenous judge appointed to a superior court in Australia.
