Linocut Workshop

This linocut workshop guides you through the basics steps to design, carve and print a lino stamp. Let’s experiment with print layering, colour and collage.

You can bring along your own drawing, images or ideas to inform your artwork, or get inspired by the resources provided. Folks can choose to play with some pre-made stamps, paper and textiles, to create art, a mini-zine, or their own embroidery pattern.

If you’d like to ‘upcycle’ your own clothing, please bring 1-2 items along to print onto with black or white textile ink - 100% cotton, washed (with eco detergent).

Lucent Flow (they/them) is a soft-punk artist and group facilitator, playing with printmaking and recycled materials. They create to get curious, deconstruct and reassemble, usually leaving works somewhat unfinished.

The Broadbeach Community Space building is wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets and kitchenette available.
