About the Kurwongbah 4WD Training Centre

• Located in Kurwongbah, North Brisbane, the training centre offers:
• Over 1000 acres of diverse off-road terrain
• 4WD bush tracks for AWD and 4WD vehicles
• A road section for driver awareness activities
• A slalom area for correct steering techniques
• Emergency braking zones on concrete and gravel
• Areas suitable for light, medium and heavy rigid vehicles
• Dedicated zones for trailer manoeuvring

9:00 AM – Welcome & Safety Briefing
Meet the Linked Resources team, get an overview of the facility, and run through key onsite safety requirements.

9:15 AM – Facility & Carpool Tour
Guided carpool tour showcasing:

• 4WD bush terrain with varying slopes
• Areas suitable for light, medium and heavy rigid vehicles
• Dedicated spaces for trailer manoeuvring (reversing & braking)

9:45 AM – Skid Pan & Defensive Driving Demonstration
Live demonstration including:

• Practical driver awareness activities on a road section
• Slalom steering exercises
• Emergency braking on both concrete and gravel

10:30 AM – Q&A, Networking & Wrap-Up
Ask questions, discuss applications for your fleet, and connect with other attendees and the Linked Resources team.
