Sunrise Medical

Creating the Path to Successful Prescription of Power Assist Products
When considering a power assist wheelchair, multiple factors must be carefully assessed to achieve optimal outcomes. This session will explore the full range of power assist options — push devices, wheel add-ons, and front pull devices — and compare the clinical considerations of each.
This session will focus on environmental and transport considerations, client physical capacity and wheelchair skills and matching the right solution to individual needs

Product focus: M90, R90, F35 and R10

Quantum

Successfully Using Power Seat Functions and Memory Seating in Power Wheelchairs
In this session, therapists will develop skills to select the most appropriate Power Wheelchair functions, ensuring alignment with individual goals, environmental requirements, and driving comfort.

This session will highlight using memory seat functions to enhance positioning and function.

Rolapal

One back to rule them all

Explore how the Dreamline Support Backrest range transforms a single universal shell into a fully modular system. Focus is on the hand dependent and prop sitter for this session.

We will cover the Support, S3, and STX options and how they address various needs from everyday positioning to highly complex postures. We’ll unpack the near‑infinite modularity of the BAC (Backrest Advanced Contouring) System, along with a practical look at lateral hardware and bracket types that expand versatility across diverse clinical presentations.

Attendees will leave with clear strategies for creating tailored, adaptable solutions using one unified backrest platform

Linds Rehab

Power Functions that Create Unique Client Centered Solutions

The difference between disability and ability often lies in assistive technology that aligns with each client’s unique functional needs. Advances in powered mobility now allow users to integrate specialised seating functions and control systems that support greater participation in daily life.

This session will explore the clinical applications of powered lateral tilt, seat to floor latitude, anterior tilt, and standing functions, along with alternative drive controls. Through clinical case studies, we will highlight how these technologies can significantly improve quality of life.

We will also review current research that informs clinical decision making and discuss outcome measures that help ensure client centred care remains meaningful rather than merely a “tick box” exercise.
