We are back again for another year!


Marion Libraries is hosting a community film screening afternoon where anyone can submit a short film of their own creation to be showcased in the Domain Theatre on the big screen!


Whether you're a seasoned filmmaker or just getting started, we welcome submissions from all ages and skill levels. We can't wait to see what our talented community has to share this year!

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to submit a film to attend?

No, anyone is welcome to join the audience!

How long can my short film be?

Your film can run up to 5 minutes.

What genre and rating can my short film have?

Your film must be appropriate for all ages with themes and impact of a G or PG-rated film. This ensures that the content is appropriate for all and that no one will be excluded from attending the screening. All genres are accepted.

How many short films can I submit?

Depending on the number of submissions we receive we may only be able to screen 1 film per director. However, you are welcome to submit up to 3 films - but know we may have to select your best 1 to screen.
