Open Mic Poetry Night: Valentine’s Day Edition

Join us for our first event of 2026! This Open Mic Poetry Night is a celebration of love, passion, and creative expression. This Valentine’s Day-themed event will be held on Saturday, 21st February 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00pm at Joy Space.

Performances will commence at 6:30pm, featuring a line-up of talented poets sharing original pieces inspired by the theme of love in all its forms - good, bad and ugly. Whether you're a seasoned poetry enthusiast or simply looking for a unique way to spend the evening, this event promises an intimate and inspiring atmosphere.

Tickets: $15 (available online and at the door)

Performance Guidelines for Poets:

• All are welcome to perform, however, limited spots are available. Please arrive on time to secure your spot!
• Poems must be original and no longer than 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
• Pieces should align with the Valentine’s Day theme.
