Join us for Library Up Late when we open the Library after hours with bestselling author of crime thriller Scrublands Chris Hammer
About this event
Chris Hammer is the author of crime novel Scrublands, an instant bestseller when it was published mid-way through 2018.
Scrublands was shortlisted for the ABIA, Indies and NSW Premier's Award and won the 2019 UK Crime Writers' Association John Creasy "New Blood" Dagger Award for debut crime novel.
Before turning to fiction, Chris was a journalist for more than thirty-years, dividing his career between covering Australian federal politics and international affairs. He reported from more than 30 countries on six continents for SBS TV.
Now he has written Silver - an enthralling thriller. Meet Chris Hammer in conversation with ABC Central West Radio's Luke Wong at our Library Up Late event where we dim the lights, add refreshments and introduce you to the Library after hours.
Please note this is an event for the grown ups (over 18s).
