LGEN: Your Organisation & the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
Event Information
About this event
As we launch into 2022, organisations are becoming increasingly aware of their responsibility to people and the planet. These obligations are summed up in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
The UN SDGs are a blueprint for achieving a better and more sustainable future for all. Within those SDGs, the United Nations set out 169 associated targets to help tackle issues ranging from gender equality through to improved sustainability. It called on business to play a major role in helping hit those targets by 2030.
Whether you’re a multinational or an SME, your organisation can play a part in addressing the issues raised in the SDGs and their associated targets.
Why should I attend?
During this free webinar, you will gain an overview of the SDGs and touch on their context within Australia and Local Government. Next, we will explore how the EFQM Model (which is free to access) can help put the SDGs to work in your organisation and gather some thoughts on how to get started with taking the essence of the SDGs on board in your own organisations.
Meet our Presenters
