Let's Talk About: Bike Fit. Presenter by Baseline, SRAM & Summer Spritz. An interactive session unpacking the fundamentals of fit.
Bike fit isn’t a numbers game. It’s a conversation between body and machine.
Join Gemma (Baseline) and Lachy (SRAM) at MAAP Lab Melbourne for an interactive session unpacking the fundamentals of fit. Touching on what matters, what doesn’t, and how small refinements can completely shift the way your bike rides.
You’ll learn how to measure your setup using fixed reference points, identify common errors by feel, and make precise adjustments that translate to comfort, control and confidence on the road.
On the agenda:
- Measuring your bike with consistent reference points
- Recognising common setup issues—and how they show up in the ride
- Cleat position, Q factor and crank length
- Saddle height and fore/aft balance
- Bar width, hood placement and brake lever reach
SRAM will bring Force E1 and Rival E1 levers, a range of crank lengths, and TIME Xpro pedals so you can experience the difference details make. A Specialized Aethos with SRAM Force AXS will be set up on a trainer for live demos throughout the evening.
Each attendee will receive a Baseline Bike Fit Passport, plus a notebook and pen—because fit is personal, and progress is documented.
Doors open at 6:00pm with pizza and drinks. The session runs 6:30–8:00pm, followed by dedicated Q&A.
For riders ready to move beyond guesswork—this is your starting line.
