LeSS Introduction Workshop

This is a one-day introduction workshop for Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) and provides a basic understanding of the LeSS fundamentals and practical application of the framework when working at scale.

Overview

Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) is a framework that is rising in popularity and expands upon Scrum to enable multiple teams to leverage their Agile capabilities when working at scale. At its core, LeSS is built upon 10 core principles and is the result of hundreds of practical scaling experiments in many organizations worldwide.

This one-day workshop provides an introduction to the practices and principles of the LeSS framework. The workshop incorporates an immersive simulation exercise and facilitated discussion sessions to provide both practical experience and theoretical knowledge for the attendees.

The course providers are seasoned Agile and Scaling practitioners with in-depth knowledge of when scaling works and when it doesn’t.

Target Audience

This workshop is appropriate for anyone who has used the Scrum framework and wants to expand their knowledge to work with multiple teams on common products across the enterprise.

About The Trainers

Dave has been in software development for 24 years, managing software development teams for 10 years. He is a Chartered IT Professional and a Certified Enterprise Coach with the Scrum Alliance. Over the past 10 years, Dave has been helping multiple organizations to adopt Agile approaches, enable their teams to reach an optimum performance and discover how to use Agile on large programs of work.

Mike Li is an experienced Agile coach with 9 years hands-on experiences and more than 20 years experiences in software development area. He is Certified LeSS Practitioner and Certified Scrum Professional. As Agile coach, he has worked with different large organizations to help them on Agile transformation

 Terms & Conditions

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Odd-e Australia will issue a full refund of ticket fees paid to registered attendees if they cancel their attendance in writing up to 7 days before the training course start date.
  • If Odd-e Australia elects to cancel the training course for any reason then Odd-e Australia will either a) provide the registered attendees a full refund of their ticket fees or b) offer to transfer their tickets to another training course for the same value as directed by the attendees. Odd-e Australia will not be held liable for any additional incidental attendee costs beyond these terms and conditions incurred as a result of the cancellation.

Transfers

If a registered attendee wishes to transfer their ticket to an alternative course for the same value or to another attendee by notifying Odd-e Australia in writing, they can do this at any time before the training course start date.

Trainer

Odd-e Australia reserves the right to provide an alternative trainer of equivalent or better qualifications if necessary for the training course.

Venue

Odd-e Australia reserves the right to provide an alternative venue if necessary for the training course.

Special Dietary Needs

Registered attendees must notify Odd-e Australia of any special dietary needs before 5 business days prior to the training course start date in order to secure an appropriate food selection.
