It will be a great night. Half of Adelaide's bands, both Les Gitans Blancs and New Cabal, come together in this project to explore Urban Manouche Swing and Gypsy Jazz, and Jazz, and World Music and....well, shall we just say MUSIC.

Gallery One doors and bar will open at 6 pm. Have a glass of vino and view a phenomenal Indigenous Exhibition "Colours of Country"

Art, Music, and a little bit of Dionysus nectar- your entire brain will light up, your senses will have a fest.....refresh, revive and enjoy.

"Each tune was delivered with incredible precision and mastery, sometimes with haunting undertones which kept things different and interesting. Throughout the show, many an audience members' head was bobbing and toes tapping for the duration of the numbers, as their rapt attention never faltered.

Les Gitan Blancs are masters of their art and, although extremely talented, they don't take themselves too seriously so the atmosphere during the evening was very relaxed and carefree and each member's sense of humour just added to their charm."

https://www.broadwayworld.com/adelaide/article/BWW-Review-CABARET-FRINGE-2017-HOT-CLUB-DE-ADELAIDE-LES-GITANS-BLANCS-at-Mitcham-Cultural-Village-Hall-20170626

“The New Cabal are an Adelaide institution. The four piece are a tight operation but they can also play loose, offering up some fantastic solos… (Their repertoire is) a mix of originals and reinterpretations of past masters, highlighting the outfit’s versatility in their ability to play both with a big sound and with quiet, tender feeling. The most impressive thing about The New Cabal though, is the way the four players work together, with the kind of connection that shows they are a band in the truest sense.” ~ The Upside News, June 2016

https://wangarattajazz.com/artists/the-new-cabal/
