WHAT DO WE WEAR TO THE TODDLER RAVE?!

The answer is: whatever makes you comfy and ready to dance!
There’s no dress code — this is all about fun, movement and good vibes.

CAN WE BRING PRAMS?

Yes — but please park them to the side so there’s plenty of room to dance.

WILL THERE BE FOOD & DRINK OPTIONS ONSITE?

Of course! We will have food and drink carts/trucks and the Cleve Sporting Bodies Club Inc. open selling food and drinks in the air-conditioning. These are to be announced but there will be a range of options.

DO I NEED A CHILD WITH ME TO ATTEND?

Nope! Come solo, come with friends, come as a grandparent outing — whatever works for you.

WHAT MUSIC WILL BE PLAYED?

DJ Lenny Pearce is spinning remixed nursery rhymes and childhood classics — lots of nostalgia, big beats, wholesome dance floor vibes.

WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WILL BE IN PLACE?

First Aid Station: Trained First Aid volunteers onsite for any little bumps or big emotions.
Security: Friendly security team ensuring everyone feels comfortable and safe.
Lost Property + Lost Child Point: A clearly marked meeting spot — if anyone gets separated, head straight here.

IS THIS A SEATED EVENT?

Nope — it’s a dance floor style event! There will be some seating around the edges for resting, snacks and pram parking, but the main area is for dancing. You are welcome to BYO deck chair for your own comfort keeping in mind the main space will be reserved for standing and dancing.

IS ALCOHOL AVAILABLE?

Yes — adult drinks will be available for purchase from the Cleve Sporting Bodies clubroom. This is a licenced venue and strictly no BYO.

CAN I BRING MY BABY?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Babies are welcome. But everyone entering must hold a ticket. 
If you’re bringing a baby in a carrier, just be mindful of movement on the dance floor. There’s space in the chill-out zone if you need to feed, sit or reset.

CAN I BRING NOISE-CANCELLING HEADPHONES?

Absolutely — we encourage it if your child prefers quieter environments. Sensory comfort is always welcome.

WILL THERE BE ANYWHERE TO FEED AND CHANGE BABIES?

Accepted Answer

Yes — there will be a nappy change area with bins and a feeding zone (but please bring your own supplies). There will be a tent outside and also space inside the clubroom.

ARE PHOTOS/VIDEOS ALLOWED?

Yes — but please be mindful of others.
Feel free to take pictures of your group, but avoid taking close-up photos of others without permission.

CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK?

Yes — re-entry is allowed with your wristband or stamp.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD GETS OVERWHELMED?

Totally okay — big fun can mean big feelings.
We’ve created a Chill-Out Area with comfy space to regroup, reset, snack, cuddle or just watch from the side until you’re ready to dance again. The Cleve Sporting Bodies Clubroom will be open, air-conditioned and set for chilling.

CAN OLDER KIDS COME TOO?

Yes! Even if they think they’re “too cool”, they usually end up dancing.
Everyone is welcome on this dance floor.

WHERE CAN WE PARK?

Parking is available around town with the event being held on the oval at the Cleve Sporting Bodies - 5 South Terrace, Cleve, SA, 5640. Shuttle bus services will run to the Eyre Peninsula Field Days Site ground for extra parking at no additional cost.

WHERE CAN WE STAY?

For those wanting to stay and make a weekend out of it, our town is ready to welcome you. Camping available at the Eyre Peninsula Field Days Site, Cleve RV Park or book a room at the Cleve Hotel Motel, Cleve Accommodation Units or Cleve Boutique Accommodation. We have lots of great options!

ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?

No, as this is a volunteer run event and fundraiser, we are unable to offer refunds. Tickets are transferrable however.

WHERE IS CLEVE?

Cleve is on the Eyre Peninsula of South Australia. Postcode 5640. We are 1.5hrs from Port Lincoln and 1.5hrs from Whyalla. This event is open to everyone. If you're travelling to join us, we can't wait to see you and hear about your travels!

HOW EARLY CAN WE ENTER THE GROUNDS?

DJ Lenny Pearce is set to begin at 1pm. However, gates will open at 11am to ensure everyone is in, settled and ready to groove. VIP Meet & Greet ticket holders will also need to arrive early as this is done pre-show. This will also give early-birds a chance to grab some lunch and a drink.

DO OLDER KIDS ATTENDING NEED TO BE WITH AN ADULT?

Yes! Every person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This is a licensed venue and a large community event. We cannot be responsible for looking out for individual children.
