Learning with iPads

This workshop is designed for primary school teachers, secondary school teachers, curriculum leaders, heads of department and technology coaches with some experience or an interest in using iPad & Apple technology for teaching and learning.
The Learning with iPad professional learning program supports teachers to explore the transformative possibilities of teaching and learning with iPad, including an overview of iPad Accessibility features to personalise learning.
- Revisit - an introduction and overview of technology in education
- Redefine - an exploration of the Apple ecosystem
- Reimagine - a focus on Ruben Puentedura’s SAMR Model and John Hattie’s Visible Learning
Through a workflow, participants will develop an understanding of how tools on the iPad can support and promote effective use of 3 key influences as identified in Hattie’s research; Formative Feedback, Teacher Clarity, Success Criteria.
Participants are asked to bring along an iPad with the Apple suite of apps, along with the following additional free apps, as well as have the ability to sign into the App Store:
