Learn to Weave: A Series of Hands-On Workshops at Canning Libraries

Join us for a creative journey into the art of weaving, guided by Polly Wilson - the indigenous artist behind Cosmic Culture Art.

You’ll learn techniques to create functional and beautiful woven items, while exploring texture, materials, and design.

In this session you will learn to make Woven Placemats — small, sturdy baskets made from upcylced bread bags and jute fibre.

No prior weaving experience is required — all skill levels are welcome.
