Learn to crochet a 'granny square' (evening series)
Learn to crochet, read a crochet pattern and make a 'granny' square
In this workshop, you'll not only learn how to do the major crochet stitches but how to read the different types of crochet patterns, and follow a pattern to make a 'granny square'.
We'll also show you how to join your squares into a simple 'granny square' rug or a small tote bag. In fact, there are endless ways you can use your granny squares and we'll show you more examples such as a smart vest.
By the end of this workshop series, you'll have the basic skills of crochet, ready to start your own crochet projects!

What do I need to bring?
Please bring a 4-4.5mm crochet hook and 2-3 different coloured balls of 10ply yarn you'd like to use so you can then keep practising at home.
