Learn it, make it: paper quilling for beginners
Expand your maker skills each month by learning a new creative skill or piece of equipment, this month it’s paper quilling.
This month we’re exploring paper quilling, a decorative craft that uses narrow strips of paper rolled, shaped, and glued together to create beautiful designs.
In this hands‑on session, you’ll learn what paper quilling is, be introduced to the essential tools, and practise basic techniques. Step‑by‑step guidance and take‑home handouts will help you get started and continue creating at home.
Participants are invited to stay after the session to continue working on a personal project.
All the equipment available at the Makerspace in the STEAM Centre in Altona Meadows Library is free to use. Simply bring your own materials to get making!
