This program explores the benefits of self-leadership to thrive in an organisation, by supporting people living with dementia, in partnership with families and staff.
The four learning modules in this program cover self-leadership, communication, trust and stress management.
5 week online program outline:
- Week 1: Virtual Classroom. 11:00am - 1:00 pm, 1 July, 2024
- Week 2: Online Learning. Complete Module 1 and 2
- Week 3: Virtual Classroom. 11:00am - 1:00 pm, 15 July, 2024
- Week 4: Online Learning. Complete Module 3 and 4
- Week 5: Virtual Classroom. 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, 29 July, 2024 *Reflective Practice
Pre-requisites
Eligible participants must be working with people living with dementia in a professional capacity, and have a foundational level of understanding of working with people living with dementia.
Continuing Professional Development
A certificate of attendance will be issued for attending the virtual classrooms and completing all online modules.
