In this hands-on class, you will be able to create your own design for your Lazy Susan using a range of ceramic tiles provided on the day.

This class caters to those who wish to learn the beautiful craft of mosaic and create their own works of art, whether it be a small picture to a larger wall piece. This studio class format means students of varying skill levels all work together and gain inspiration from each other – they’re very relaxed and informal. During the class, we will be making a mosaic together on a ready-made base.

What you'll get

-You will create an impressive revolving centrepiece to take home for your dining table (your substrate is a 39cm wide plywood turning Lazy Susan).

-All ceramic tiles tools and materials are provided.

-Coffee, tea and biscuits are provided.

What to bring

No prior experience of mosaic-making and no artistic skills are necessary.

You'll leave this class feeling inspired and ready to create your next masterpiece. Mosaic is a great medium for beginners because it is accessible for all. Images can be rendered merely by arranging tile by trial and error until you like what you see!
