Each session is worth 1 CPD point (Professional Skills - Competency Area 2).
This session provides an orientation of Lexis Advance, along with introductory tips.
The session will provide you with the skills to drive research efficiency on Lexis Advance using advanced search forms across cases, legislation, secondary materials and forms & precedents.
It will also take you through more advanced Boolean connectors and guidance around choosing the best research strategy depending on your task at hand.
Important note: this is a certified CPD session for legal professionals maintaining their practicing certificate in Western Australia.
Persons other than Western Australian legal practitioners will not be admitted.
