Join Australia's Chief Scientist, Dr Alan Finkel and Prof Al McEwan, Convenor ACGR to launch this important graduate research initiative.

About this event

ACGR’s Graduate Research Impact is a digital platform for knowledge exchange between academics, graduate researchers and stakeholders. It provides a forum to comment on current issues and advances in graduate research and engage with the public and private sectors in discussions about the value that graduate researchers bring to a knowledge-based economy.

Places are free and limited to no more than two delegates from any Higher Education Provider or stakeholder group. .  Following registration delegates will be send a Zoom conferencing link and password to access the webinar. Please note that this event, and any contributions to it,  will be recorded and made available to members of ACGR. Organiser of Launch – ACGR Graduate Research Impact Blog

The Australian Council of Graduate Research Inc (ACGR) is a not-for-profit forum of university representatives engaged in  the leadership and management of graduate research, this is Higher Degree by Research  (HDR) programs. Typically representatives holds positions such as Dean or Director of Graduate Research or equivalent. 

The purpose of the Council is to promote excellence in research training and scholarship and to seek to maintain and continue to improve national standards for all graduate research degree programs.

The Council provides Graduate School Deans, Directors and industry partners with an opportunity to share ideas, exchange professional development resources, and network. DDoGS convenes biannually to discuss national agenda issues in research training and share best practice.
