Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Maria Alejandra is a singer-songwriter whose music is rooted in melancholy, tenderness, vulnerability, and emotional honesty. Music was her first language, and her songs draw from experiences of family history, mental health challenges, displacement, and LGBTQ+ identity, holding space for emotional openness and the moments that shape who we become. On stage, Maria invites audiences into a carefully built emotional world; one where stories unfold, scenes are set, and listeners are encouraged to feel deeply. She is currently working on her upcoming EP ‘Shooting Stars’, a project that reflects her journey of growth, resilience, and self discovery.
