Feb 17 at 10 am to Mar 24 at 12:30 pm AEDT
Overview

Join us in capturing the character of Lake Macquarie through expressive sketching and watercolour painting.

The Lake Mac Urban Arts Group is a weekly creative meet up where participants explore and experiment with drawing the different urban environments at each location.

All skill levels are welcome for this series of INCLUSIVE and flexible community sessions around Lake Macquarie sites.

Each week, our experienced tutor will focus on a particular technique or aspect of observational drawing as a starting point for the session, and also provide feedback on request to help you develop the art skills that interest you most. Participants are encouraged to suggest future places for the group to visit and draw familiar and hidden views of our local area.

We invite you to join the LMUAG crew capturing the character and colours of Lake Macquarie through these on-location sketching and painting sessions. We are a friendly, supportive, and enthusiastic group where you will feel comfortable making mistakes, discoveries, and growing as an artist through your sketchbook.
