Sung in Rippon Leas's earliest days, enjoy the songs Marian Sargood herself collected and sang in the elegant sitting room of her own home.
An evening soiree featuring music from her personal albums, sung by the distinguished Australian soprano, Merlyn Quaife AM. Sargood family favourites will include gems such as Kathleen Mavourneen and The young lady's NO. Bruce Macrae accompanies Merlyn on the National Trust's 1868 Chickering grand piano - made in Boston USA the same year the mansion was built.
Gates open at 5.30pm with the event starting at 6pm inside the mansion.
This performance concludes at 7pm with a drink post performance on the veranda. Gates will close at 7.30pm.
