My brain but not my brain is a group exhibition that explores how our subconscious selves are more honest than our conscious selves. Meandering through spheres of dreamscapes, trauma-processing and object or material embodiments, we explore our identities and truths based on what we are not thinking rather than what we know. The collection of works by Annabel Scanlen, Annie Areum Shin, Fei Gao, Jessie Nok Wai Hui, Jodie Sim, Karan Singh Shekhawat and Natalie Quan Yau Tso acknowledges the 'hidden brain' as the start of true self-understanding.
