Research Project: Review of the Department of Education’s Koorie Kids Shine

The Victorian Department of Education’s Koorie Kids Shine (KKS) program helps promote kinder for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families in Victoria. It aims to make sure kindergartens are:

  • Safe and respectful of culture.
  • Valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
  • Helping children enrol and keep attending.

The aim of this project is to look at how KKS can do this better in the future. It will also check what has worked so far and suggest new ways forward.
