Kent Florist is located in Paddington Brisbane, managed by Mikiko Inoue, who has worked as a florist and wedding planner for over 18 years. Her experience in both traditional and Ikebana floristry has seen her work in many fields, including commercial; on-set arrangements for film; executive and government functions. Through building management companies, Mikiko has also enjoyed decorating old people and children’s homes with a number of creative fresh and artificial flower displays.You are able to purchase the gift voucher for any of Kent Florist's workshops. You will make two Kokedamas with two different kinds of moss to take home.

Mappins Nursery

In this workshop, you will learn a bit of history of Kokedama, and then, make 2 Kokedama (one sitting on a bowl and hanging one) which can proudly be taken home afterwards.You will learn the soil mixture and other special ingredients of Kokedama, and also easy Makurame to hang your large Kokedama.The plants, moss, soil, ingredients, twine and bowls are all provided.A bottle of water and Japanese snack will be served.Please bring your apron.
