This area is an important wildlife corridor and local residents often spot koalas. At 10am and 11am researchers from University of the Sunshine Coast Detection Dogs for Conservation will be on hand to take you on a guided walk to spot koalas in the wild. You'll learn trade tips and tricks for successfully finding our fluffiest marsupial!
We supply: Plants, tools, sunscreen, insect repellent, gardening gloves and a sausage sizzle!
What to bring: Enclosed shoes (gumboots if you have them as it is a wet area), sun protection and drinking water.

Parking: Street parking available on Hilliard's Park Drive. You'll find additional parking at Fellmonger Park with easy access over the Hillard creek bridge to the planting area.
