Shivam Rath, musical magician and producer is exploring exciting new realms with modern day technology and his Indian Classical training. Using the 22-string Hindustani Slide Guitar and his unique crystal ball as slide, he effortlessly draws unique one of a kind signature sounds and melodies based on Raga and his own musical expressions.
Exploring diverse styles and musical cultures including the Japanese Shakuhachi flute, the rhythmic beats of the Indian Tabla, and expressive vocals based on traditional devotional songs, Raga and ancient mantras transforming old into new and just as often in the moment fully improvised.
Shivam’s approach breaks genre barriers, creating a harmonious blend of musical influences for a captivating and holistic listening experience that can be a deeply dynamic journey from meditative listening to up beat transcendental dance with full electronic music production.
